Three places, one day.

The meadow, the barn and the farmhouse sit side by side, a short walk across the lawn. Here is what each one is for, how many it holds, and what happens if it rains.

Wooden chairs in the meadow facing an arch of white roses under the oak
Glasses of sparkling wine and canapés on a wooden table on the lawn
The old oak, and drinks on the lawn afterwards.
For your ceremony

The Meadow.

Vows under the old oak, then drinks and photographs in the long grass while dinner is laid.

Holds
150 seated for the ceremony. Up to 180 for drinks on the lawn.
Layouts
  • Straight rows with a centre aisle up to 150
  • Curved rows around the oak up to 120
Included
The meadow and lawn all day, lawn games, picnic rugs and a table for the registrar. The ceremony set-up under the oak (chairs, aisle, rose arch and a speaker) is £650, see prices.
If it rains
We decide with you at 10am on the day. The ceremony moves into the barn, set in rows for up to 150, and the move takes about half an hour. Drinks are served in the farmhouse while the barn is turned round for dinner.
Long candle-lit tables set inside the barn under oak beams
The barn at night under a canopy of warm string lights
Set for dinner, and the same room after dark.
For dinner and dancing

The Barn.

An oak-framed barn with a kitchen of its own. Dinner and speeches first, then the tables go back and the dancing starts.

Holds
120 seated for dinner. 180 in the evening.
Layouts
  • Long tables up to 120
  • Round tables of ten up to 110
  • Ceremony rows, if it rains up to 150
  • Evening, with dance floor and bar up to 180
Included
Tables, chairs and linen, candles and the string lights, an oak dance floor, a speaker and microphone for speeches, and our own kitchen and bar staff.
If it rains
The barn is the wet-weather plan for the whole day. It is heated in winter, and in summer the big doors open onto the meadow. For 121 to 150 at dinner, we join a covered lawn tent to the barn doors (£2,400).
